The Final Crescendo of Finality
Copyrights Reserved© LeX Productions 2005

Amidst all the fancy footpaths

And the bountiful foliage

In all of Mother Nature's glory

I walk quietly

My footsteps follow unabated

As I look back and recollect

The bittersweet moments of folly, naivety

I draw solace from the silence

And the one that resides eternally

In the high heavens

If only we can appreciate

The inconspicuous beauty of simplicity

Amidst an array of complications

Many things remain intangible

Hidden under a blanket of enigma

Can anyone ever know

What lies behind the rainbow?

Predict what tomorrow will bring?

Or taste and appreciate

The essence of saccharine morning dew?

As we take life's final breaths

And the curtain call resounds

Can one ever answer the countless, innumerable questions

That plague the depth of one's heart?

Maybe, perhaps, probably

Someday and somewhere

In the realms of eternity
